Marliek, a visual artist from Utrecht, The Netherlands, depicts city people in her expressionistic crowdscapes. She observes, sketches, and photographs people in crowds, and develops these into various 2D and 3D forms. Her work shows the raw, busy city life from a distorted, subjective perspective.
